Hello 2007 Oyster Conservationists!
Thank you for all of your hard work this season! After we struggled through the set-back of the first batch of larvae dying at the hatchery, we were able to deliver oyster spat to all the volunteers in September. We had a slightly truncated season, but we were still able to collect some valuable data. Due to the time constraints, we gave volunteers oysters that were much smaller than we usually provide (~1mm). We had some interesting results which we are still interpreting. I have posted the graphs below. As always, feel free to contact me with any questions. We will work on the 2007 report and hope to get it to you as soon as possible.
